The Charles River Growth Fund
Founded in 1994
The Charles River Growth Fund is Harvard’s oldest investment fund, with a concentrated portfolio of 7-15 equities. Members of the Fund attend weekly meetings and are expected to make at least one pitch per semester.
Prospective members in the Fund should have an interest in financial markets and a willingness to research and pitch stocks as possible investments.
Membership in The Fund is capped each semester through a rigorous selection process. We seek individuals with integrity, patience for complexity, a knack for thinking creatively, and the courage to set forth a differentiated point of view. Our most recent class yielded a 6% acceptance rate.
Our members have gone on to companies across all asset classes. Please see a more detailed breakdown on our membership page.
